Cctv news(Reporter wanglili): Yinchanggou Village, Foping County, Shaanxi Province is a mountain except a mountain.
In 2006, in order to make a living, only Jiang Dong, a villager with junior high school education, walked out of the mountain in Yinchanggou Village. At the age of 20, he felt that only by going out could he see hope and get rid of poverty.
In 2013, Jiang Dong, who had been working outside for seven years, was getting married and returned to his hometown with his wife Li Xin, who also worked in Wuxi Hotel.
After the banquet, looking at the elderly parents and thinking about the upcoming baby, after repeated discussions, the two decided not to go out and stayed in their hometown to find a way to start a business.
At this time, my hometown is still a high mountain, and the monotonous and repetitive scene makes Jiang Dong feel very confused. "When I was in Wuxi, the two of us worked in hotel management, and we had experience in this field. We wanted to continue to engage in our old job, but our hometown simply did not have these resources and needs."
Just when the couple were at a loss, they accidentally walked into the furniture city, and a palm mat with a selling price of nearly 10,000 yuan suddenly aroused Jiang Dong’s interest. "There are mountain palms all over the mountains in my hometown. Why can’t we make our own palm mats?"
As the saying goes, relying on mountains to eat mountains, relying on water to draft. Yinchanggou village has more than 6500 mu of forest land, which is very rich in forest land resources. Wild palm is a common forest in Qinling Mountain, which has the characteristics of moisture resistance, corrosion resistance and no insects. However, the mountain palm resources can not be further processed, which is also a problem that has been puzzling the local income increase. In this way, the green, environmentally-friendly and promising palm mat project was supported by the local government. At the end of 2014, Jiang Dong and his wife Li Xin, after systematically learning related technologies, took more than 200,000 yuan accumulated from working and set up a mountain palm professional cooperative in their farmyard.
After several years of hard work by the couple, the humble palm forest on the hillside has become a beacon. “6— 16 cm palm mat, the current market price is 480 yuan — From 3,000 yuan, we can sell more than 20 palm mats a day, with a turnover of 30,000 yuan. " Li Xin said.
Like many mountain villages, the villagers in Yinchanggou Village are mostly elderly people, and the loss of young and middle-aged people is serious. Many elderly people and women who stay at home have to take care of their children and fields, so they can’t go to work in the factory. According to their living characteristics, Li Xin distributed some of the knitting, sewing and packaging of brown mats so that they could finish them at home.
"In this way, they can not only take care of their families, but also have extra income to subsidize their families." Li Xin said that at present, the company has changed from the original small family workshop to industrial production, with an annual output value of 27 million yuan. In addition, by encouraging villagers to work in factories, share shares and share dividends, and collecting and sorting brown hair, transportation and sales, more than 100 people were recruited to work and increase their income, which was recognized by Foping County as a "demonstration base for returning migrant workers’ entrepreneurship".
If education is a long-term way to change the face of poverty, Mao Youbin, secretary of the branch of Yinchanggou Village, thinks that the rural economy can be better developed by giving the people the job opportunity to earn money and support their families at home, and by increasing their income through employment nearby.
"It is necessary to introduce enterprises, stay and serve well." In the interview, this is what the reporter heard the most from the local cadres. From individuals to groups, from rural areas to cities, from leaving to feeding back, with more and more policy support, I believe that more and more people who leave home are preparing for a better return home.
